Heard County Building & Zoning Now Accepting Applications for Full Time Clerk Position

The Heard County Board Of Commissioners will be accepting applications for the position of Clerk for the Heard County Building & Zoning office. The hours of operation are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday-Friday. This position does require good communication skills, strong computer skills, and the ability to read a map. The applicant must have a high school diploma or GED. The applicant must agree to a pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check. Salary based upon experience; benefits available after 60 days of employment.

Applications will be accepted until 3:00 p.m. on March 21, 2024.

Applications can be found online HERE from the Heard County website or can be picked up from the Heard County Board Of Commissioners office located at 201 Park Avenue, Room 200,  Franklin, GA 30217. Applications may be emailed to HR@heardcountyga.com or returned to Katrina Billingsley at the Heard County Board Of Commissioners office.
