Business Licenses
Any business done in Unincorporated Heard County, which generates revenue, is REQUIRED to have a Business License!
•
The fee to obtain a Business License is based on number of employees.
•
Licenses may ONLY be obtained through the Zoning Department.
•
All Licenses expire December 31st of the corresponding year and MUST BE renewed the following January.
•
Late fees will be applied in the months after January:

PLEASE NOTE:
•
Tax Assessors and Zoning Offices MUST BE notified if business is closed.
•
Completed applications MUST BE submitted to the Zoning Office.
•
Renewal applications may be mailed.
•
If State Licenses are required for business, then a copy MUST BE provided.
•
Information required varies based on business type.
•
Beer and Wine Licenses are $500.00.
