The Heard County Board of Commissioners is seeking a Mechanic Assistant for the Heard County Vehicle Maintenance Shop.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting the Vehicle Maintenance Mechanic in regular maintenance such as oil changes, tire changes, brakes, and repairs. This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repairs, and a valid Georgia driver’s license with a satisfactory MVR. The applicant must agree to a pre-employment drug test and a background check. Salary (with benefits) will be based on experience and knowledge. Applications will be accepted through Friday, February 26, 2021 at the Heard County Commissioner’s Office, in the Heard County Administration Business, Franklin, Georgia.
