Now Accepting Applications for
Part-Time Transit Driver
November 13, 2020
Heard County Transit is accepting applications for a part-time transit driver. Hours are from 16 to 26 hours per week. You will be expected to provide safe, reliable, and efficient transportation services for the residents of Heard County. Applicants must have a valid Georgia driver’s license with a satisfactory MVR; preferably but not required a minimum of one (1) year driving experience; be able to pass a criminal background check; a DOT pre-employment drug test; and possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively is needed.

Applicants will be expected to comply with all state and federal Drug and Alcohol regulations. This is a safety sensitive position.

Applications should be submitted to the Human Resources Department at the Heard County Commissioner’s Office, Heard County Administration Building, Room #200, 201 Park Avenue, Franklin, GA.
